May marks the beginning of a few things here in Sarasota: snowbird season is over and the town is returned to the locals, the ungodly heat of summer begins, and many plants (like my orchids) are about to finish their bloom cycles. But this year, May also marked an unusual challenge I imposed on myself. I’ve been thinking a lot about my money habits.
